Walking along Ho Chi Minh Road today, one can clearly see the change of the red basalt land of Nghia Dan, Nghe An with grasslands and sorghum fields stretching endlessly on the hillsides.

TH owns a record-setting dairy farm: Asia's largest high-tech concentration farm (certified by Asian Book of Records in 2015) with a herd of 45,000 cows, a dairy processing plant with a capacity of reach 500,000 tons/year.

The TH Group's high-tech dairy farming project was implemented in October 2009 with a total area of 37,000 hectares in Nghia Dan district, Nghe An, with a total investment of over $1.2 billion.

Up to now, TH has owned a herd of more than 45,000 dairy cows, a milk processing factory with a capacity of 500,000 tons/year.

Bringing the world's leading livestock technology to Vietnam's "dairy capital"

Currently, TH is using the most advanced management system of the world's leading partners. At TH's high-tech concentrated livestock farms, the Group applies Afimilk's herd management and control technology, Totally Vets' veterinary management technology, ration mixing technology and management technology. Israeli feed (RationAll and One1), Amiad's drinking water purification technology for cows from Israel, Aqua wastewater treatment technology from the Netherlands, SunEarth's Compost processing technology - Japan, and management system SAP financial manager from Germany, Tetra Pak Packaging Technology from Sweden and Combi from Germany.

TH's cows are raised in a modern barn system, with a covered design and a cool fan to help the cows move freely. With automation technology, each farm is designed to milk about 3,000 cows per day in 3 shifts. Each milking unit milks 120 cows at the same time.

Before entering the milking system, cows are bathed and cooled and then blown dry. Before milking, nipples will be disinfected, cleaned and dried to ensure milk is always clean and avoid mastitis. When milking is completed, the milking system automatically opens and the cows go back to the barn by themselves.

The cow herd management system is 100% computerized with Afitag chip technology in the foot of each cow to help control health status, estrus and to detect mastitis 4 days before.
